Bar Prep Foundations

Bar Prep Foundations is a five-week, skills-based course designed to strengthen the core skills tested on the bar exam. The course emphasizes the development of learning, analytical, and application skills necessary for bar exam success. Students will learn how to recognize issues, recall and break down rules, analyze fact patterns, and clearly articulate legal reasoning in a way that demonstrates competency to bar exam graders. Through live virtual instruction, guided practice, and assigned exercises, students develop a structured approach to answering bar exam questions while building greater confidence, consistency, and accuracy.

‍Course Format
The course includes nine live virtual, interactive classes presented over five weeks. Students complete assigned practice between classes and are expected to participate actively and consistently apply the methods taught. Bar Prep Foundations emphasizes skill development and is intended to complement, not replace, substantive bar review.

‍Best for: Students who want to strengthen their learning, issue spotting, legal reasoning, analysis, and exam-taking skills before intensive bar preparation begins. For February bar takers, the course runs from mid-October to late November; for July bar takers, from mid-January to late February and mid-March to late April.

Essay Writing 101

This course is designed to help students develop and strengthen the analytical and writing skills necessary to succeed on law school exams, the bar exam and in the practice of law. Students will learn how to outline and write essays that are clear, concise, and well-reasoned.

Key skills taught include:
(1) Identifying and articulating legal issues in dispute.
(2) Applying relevant facts to the appropriate rules of law to reach logical conclusions.
(3) Writing clear and concise essays.

(1) Participate in live virtual six-hour interactive writing clinic.
(2) Write and receive personalized, constructive feedback from a tutor on seven essays.

Personalized Bar Preparation Plan
Repeat takers receive a structured daily learning plan designed to help them build their knowledge of the law and strengthen the skills tested on the bar exam. The plan includes substantive lectures, Angel AI Rule Drills, and guided Angel AI Tutoring Sessions. The plan does not include ongoing human-tutor support or access to Florida or MBE question banks. Bar Prep 101 Plus is a comprehensive program for repeat takers who need structure, live instruction, accountability, and personalized feedback. Through a personalized learning plan, substantive instruction, small group tutoring, writing practice, and detailed feedback, students strengthen their knowledge, improve their bar exam skills, and learn to apply the law accurately under exam conditions.

MPT Comprehensive Workshops

This interactive course is designed to strengthen performance on the Multistate Performance Test (MPT) component of the Uniform Bar Exam.

Students will develop the following essential skills:
1. Distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant facts with precision.
2. Applying the appropriate law to the facts to resolve client problems effectively.
3. Interpreting statutory, case, and administrative materials to identify controlling legal principles.
4. Communicating clearly in written form.

1. Participate in two 3-hour interactive workshops and receive intensive instruction and guided exercises
2. Write and receive personalized, detailed feedback on two MPTs
